The benefits listed above speak for themselves. Currently truck manufacturers are installing dual fuel engines that run on LNG. These engines, for example the C-12, run on LNG and performed pulling 80,000 lbs with better fuel economy, no loss of horsepower.

For those fleets wanting to switch to LNG but not wishing to purchase the new line of trucks, conversion kits are available for most makes and models. However, the state is writing new legislation that may provide funding for new LNG vehicles. Bus manufacturers are currently following suit with the trucks. New buses with originally manufactured engines are being produced and conversion kits are also provided.
